An absolutely beautiful annual twining vine with vivid crimson trumpet shaped flowers that hummingbirds and butterflies love. The very attractive foliage is a lustrous emerald green and it is shaped like palm or fern leaves.
Commonly grown since the 1800's. Bright cardinal red blooms from early summer until frost are very attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Vigorous vines will climb 10-15' if given the room on trellises and arbors in full sun or part shade. Also suitable for pots.
