Star of Yelta (Deep Velvety Purple) Morning Glory (Ipomoea purpurea) Seeds

24+ STAR OF YELTA (DEEP VELVET PURPLE) MORNING GLORY SEEDS (Ipomoea purpurea) PLUS planting instructions, including a color photo for seedling identification.

These are annuals, but readily self-sow for even more vines the following year! The vines grow 8 to 12 feet with a profusion of blooms that are a VERY deep purple with beautiful pink/red veins that form stars in the center. Everyone that sees them says they look like rich velvet! Pictures don't do this beautiful morning glory justice! The prolific blooms are 2 to 3 inches across, perfect for covering a fence or trellis! They will bloom all summer to first frost.

I have found they need very little care and yield LOTS AND LOTS of blooms. They grow best in sandy average soil and in full sun. Easy and fun, even for new gardeners and children.
